“That's an interesting idea. Increasing your horsepower these days is a matter of replacing one chip. What happens when people start creating their own interfaces and literally start hacking their cars? It's not like you're getting something for nothing, like our friend with the cable modem, since you already paid for the car, but if breaking DVD encryption and publishing that information is illegal, why wouldn't it be illegal for you to publish software that decompiles and makes changes to the software on the chips in your car?Since you already paid for the DVD, it's the same thing. You don't even need to make a copy for it to be illegal, just publishing an app for it would be.

The main reason I bury the telegraph articles is simply due to the fact that they can't assemble a simple article, almost ever. Why do websites sacrifice practicality over aesthetics? Is one page too hard to ask? A website as big as they are, can they not afford to create a simple flash animation? Even flash armatures can make a box with a picture in it and create a button that will move them to the next or previous photo. Not to rant, but when 16 year olds can make entire flash animations from stick figures with numerous button options and the like, you wonder how a professional website can't make their page convenient and easy to navigate.Maybe I am just too hung up on details and can't appreciate it for what it is. But seriously..
***** off with your ignorant anit-vaxxer *****, iancgi!

Why is this funny??
I would recommend reading "If a Lion Could Talk". It's an excellent book on animal emotions and actually takes a very scientific approach to it, citing journals and other studies. |

I have to disagree with this notion that anybody would believe Mexicans have a reputation for formality. I'd say they're more widely renown in the Spanish-speaking community for precisely the opposite: an abudance of slang and, as the article points out, cursing.Does this offend me? No, cursing doesn't inherently offend me, but I might get offended if someone shouted, "***** you, *****!" at me for no apparent reason. It's obvious that some people curse so much that the words have absolutely no meaning when they come out of their mouths. I think people that use curse words essentially as punctuation annoy people more because the words are "offensive", but I'd point out that people who say words such as "like" a million times in a sentence annoy me just as much. When it comes down to it, superfluous cursing merely demonstrates a person's poor communication skills and unwillingness to expand upon their conversational vocabulary. It also seems like curse words tend to be used as conversation filler because people try to talk faster than their brain can form rational sentences.

You know this doesn't surprise me much. I bought a new laptop and it had Chrome pre-installed. That sort of thing will get usage up as well. I was pleasantly surprised.
