In most western countries, the prison system is managed largely as an attempt to rehabilitate offenders (obviously not all prisoners can be rehabilitated though). In the US, it seems (at least from the outside looking in) that it is purely punitive with no real effort to reintegrate offenders as productive members of society. The so-called "war" on drugs is also ridiculously overbearing and contributes to the massive number of people in US prisons per capita.
People watch the Oscars?

“There is a difference between charging you for a service and PATENTING YOUR DNA so you can not go to an alternative company to get your analysys. These patents are illegal. I mean seriously WTF is not MILLIONS OF YEARS OF EVOLUTION not enough "prior art" to invalidate all of these patents?

When have they ever done any of the things you just said?.
That's what I said. When I said server, I was actually thinking along the lines of running, say, a print server from a cable modem the same way I currently run a print server off of a hacked wifi modem. Not something connected to the internet, since you're better off getting a private host for a web server. As for playing with the transceiver, I just thought it'd be neat to play around with building your own cable network, see how it works; if you live in a university dorm or something you could maybe build your own wide-area-network. Maybe you could adapt the transceiver for other uses too, set up an antenna and send/receive high-frequency RF waves, et cetera.Actually connecting a hacked cable modem to an ISP-owned cable line would almost certainly be a violation of your contract, a pretty pointless risk to take. If your internet is too slow, pay the extra ten bucks a month and get a faster connection, jeez.!

Who refers to their own dog as "the dog?" If they were really living together he would of referred to the dog by its name. Another funny/fake internet note.

It's not clickfraud, or fraud at all if the contest organizers don't have a problem with it. They said it's NOT prohibited. This chick seems to be complaining to anyone that will listen, but nobody really cares. The only people affected by this particular version of Click Fraud, if you can even call it that, are those who don't employ it. I don't like click fraud or bots but this is obviously a dumb contest run by a dumb radio contest. Maybe this will mark the end of them.

I hope these numbers take into account tax revenue generated on Doritos and Pop-tarts. |
