I would do this sort of thing...if it was for photography and not for sitting in one pose for that length of time.
Obsolete graph is obsolete.

12chan is getting too bold..
yes, the illegals go to an ER and pay nothing, while the bill is footed by the taxpayer. HEALTHCARE REFORM SHOULD INCLUDE SOME TYPE OF WAY TO OFFSET THIS. instead, the bill does not do anything in regards to solving this issue, and will continue to let illegals suck off americas tit's. so, while i am forced to pay a tax at the end of the year or be faced with jail time, the illegals get to continue to use the healthcare i paid for, for their headaches and migraines. when will you people ever learn to read!

The show looks promising, but they revealed way too much for a pilot episode; the content of that episode could have easily been made into half a season.?
The plug in hybrid is the critical next step. We need to develop vehicles with electric drivetrains, but consumers will NOT broadly accept limited range battery-only vehicles. The series-hybrid plugins resolve the range issue, and once they start to get significant market share, the fundamental design of the car lets you swap the "extender module" from being internal combustion/gasoline to ICE/diesel, ICE/ethanol, ICE/hydrogen, or Fuel Cell Hydrogen. For that matter the extender module can be dropped entirely when/if battery range becomes sufficient. Anyone pushing battery-only electrics over plug-ins for environmental reasons is 100% shooting themselves in the foot. It's all about having a workable electric *drivetrain* that can stay in all-electric mode up through freeway speeds. Once we get our foot in the door on that by getting a large number of those vehicles on the road everything else is simple evolutionary steps forward on the same fundamental design. |

A six pack? Hell, I'd probably need to down a whole keg before doing anything like this.

Not so. Electricity can, and is, produced in a variety of ways. For instance, 20% of the US base load is supplied by nuclear power, has been for the last 45 years. So given equal efficiency of fuel to wheel power, we've already reduced the "tail pipe" by 20%. Another 12% of US base load is generated by Hydro. So clip off another 12%.In addition, electric cars are just plain more efficient. Even after accounting for transmission and battery charge losses, fuel to wheel efficiency is at least 30% better for electric cars.So. Not only do electric cars give us an immediate reduction is energy usage and pollution. They give us great flexibility of fuel types going forward. We will be able to use whatever fuel is cheapest to generate electricity as cleanly as possible. The gasoline car is kind of limiting. My next car will be nuclear powered!

I hate web pages that have white text on dark background. Makes after images burn my eyes, especially when returning to the black text/white background Digg comments to complain about it. So far, I've managed to avoid clawing my eyes out of their sockets, I'll report back later if that happens. |
