iPhone is a great hint why - too many average American consumers are far more interested in what is trendy than in what is practical. As far as smart phones go, the iPhone has its place(games, video, etc are awesome on it!), but that place shouldn't be in the pockets of business users that need efficient & effective email, document readers, etc..

In fairness, the Obama Administration did oppose the Amendment.HOWEVER, they and the DoD opposed it because they way it was written, it would be very hard to enforce. They actually recommended a stronger, broader bill that would prohibit ALL such arrangements in any business transaction entered into within the jurisdiction of the United States.The GOP people who voted against it? They just wanted to protect a company's right to have arbritation in their contracts. Wow, those are pretty lame requests.How aboutThird-party apps to be able to sync data with the computer, so we can have useful programs instead of more fart players?Continual audible notifications when I missed a call, text, or voicemail. You know, like phones had 10 years ago? It's inexcusable that iPhone owners miss out on entire events because they don't know someone called them until the next day, when they go to use their phone for something and see they missed a call 12 hours ago.

Egypt did it b/c pigs are made of dirty jews (I'm not kidding, go ask about their fables). Obviously, muslims know that sounds crazy so they defend it by saying pigs are filthy animals. Yet, they love to eat any other meat no matter how grotesquely it was raised (as if pigs are guilty b/c they choose to be in their own filth and farmed that way).
