The thing that bugs me the most (and frankly, I don't understand why) is that most of the video-on-demand services you most likely already have (Hulu, cable on-demand service, etc.) only have small selections of the episodes of any given series at a time. Why can't they just have the whole series at once?
They didn't ship new content for free. They released $50 expansion packs. You know, just like CIV4 or The Sims.

cop deserved it.
Yeah, because the reason we pirate movies is just because we don't understand it's illegal. Maybe permanently disconnecting us from one of the most widely used form of communication for downloading 3 movies is the right form of action. OR maybe the movie industry can simply understand that the old business model doesn't work anymore, and that they should start investing heavily in digital distribution models. But if I'm going to be shut ot from the internet, my three movies are going to be Catwoman, Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2 , and Glitter (and if I can sneak one by them, Boat Trip.)!

At first I thought it was Top gear, so I was disappointing when I realized it was CGI. Then I watched it and was more impressed than any Top gear episode. dugg.?
Sounds good to me. Train em and ship them permanently. Send two bears to Dubya's home in Texas. |

I'm familiar with the ownership of the NiMH rights. I do believe that we would have many more electric cars on the road if not for Chevron owning the rights to production of large format NiMH batteries. However, I don't believe it's even close to the "amazing" solution everyone thinks it is. The RAV4-EV only has an average range of 100 miles before needing a 5 hour recharge. Yes, the batteries have held up well, but they still degrade, and have a significant cost of replacement. Far more then standard maintenance on a gasoline vehicle.I am a huge EV enthusiast. I will buy a Volt as soon as they come out for 40k or more. I'm playing devils advocate here to bring the "conspiracy level" down and notch so we can solve the real problems. Converting transportation to electric is not simple, and will not be cheap. I personally believe the only way to do so is raise gas prices to include all the indirect costs its use incurs. That would provide the market forces necessary for the more expensive EV market to grow.My next car will be a Volt powered by Nuclear energy... We need more of that.
